Brett's list of bits - stuff and things as well as things and stuff...
And by extension, shame on Australia too for not meeting our obligations to asylum seekers. And for keeping them in sub-human conditions. It's clearly ok for us to use the UN to criticize other nations but when it us in the firing line - that's apparently no good.

I have noticed a distinct silence from my right-wing friends who normally are loud and complain about just about anything but are silent on our village-idiot Prime Minister's response to the children in detention report and the lack of any action.

Stay classy, Australia. I'm ashamed for this country. This is despicable behaviour.

Sweden has taken it upon themselves to deal with refugees in a humane manner. Australia should take a leaf out of their book rather than the cruel treatment we dole out to genuine asylum seekers.

I totally agree - our treatment of asylum seekers has been abysmal.
